Gravesham Borough Council

Making an impact by building affordable homes for people with special housing needs

We’ve successfully delivered five much-needed bungalows, bringing a previously derelict and overgrown site in Kent back into good use. This high profile scheme delivered the first council-owned homes to be developed in the borough for approximately 17 years.

The one, two and three bedroom homes are all built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, and Lifetime Homes Standard, making them ideal for persons with special housing needs. One of the bungalows is fully wheelchair compliant and was advertised well ahead of schedule so that a suitable applicant was found and necessary adaptations incorporated as part of the build programme.
